Access for All

Empowering Mobility

The project tackles accessibility barriers in Amsterdam for people with disabilities, particularly those with limited mobility, by developing tools, programs, and recommendations. Its core solution is a digital mapping tool that visualizes inaccessible areas, combining data collection, stakeholder input, and lived experiences to raise awareness and drive change. In the short term, the focus is on co-developing the tool, gathering data, and engaging policymakers, while the long-term vision is to improve citywide accessibility and inspire a global movement for mobility inclusion. Success will be measured through tool development, stakeholder engagement, data collected, increased awareness, and tangible accessibility improvements in Amsterdam. Collaboration with disability advocacy groups, policymakers, and tech partners ensures the project is both practical and impactful.
