Shaping Leadership Futures
Businesses in Amsterdam face challenges in identifying and committing to core actions that empower women to step into and remain in leadership positions. To address this, the Global Shapers are developing a validated framework—co-created through focus groups, interviews, and roundtables with women leaders and allies—that organizations can implement to drive gender equality in leadership. In the short term, we will host events to test and refine the framework, while the long-term goal is to establish it as a practical tool for change across businesses. Success will be measured by the number of events held, participants engaged, companies adopting the framework, and satisfaction with its usage. The project is a collaborative effort with women and allies in leadership across Amsterdam, ensuring solutions are rooted in lived experience and organizational realities.
